Holy crap batman - I have not been here in two weeks! Did you miss me?
I can not say that i have been too busy, but i have been going. Semi-retirement has me hopping.
It really have been doing the usual activities - work long days of commuting and teaching Monday through Thursday. My Friday mornings have been more of a question mark - will i work today or not? I did not teach today, nor last Friday due to cancelations. Wish I was not so disappointed, but it frustrates me that I have the day blocked to teach and they cancel last minute so I can not plan anything. Also, spending time occasionally with the group of friends.
Steve - again thank you for your four day visit - it was excellent sharing time here in Madrid. The walking was excellent exercise and the four museums were enjoyable. I promise to find a better place for Panaella for next time ....
Todd is on his way tonight, if he gets on. We are going to Barcelona or Segovia, depending on the flight he gets on. Secretely I hope it is Segovia.
I re-re-started Spanish classes, with a new professor - I like his style much better and seem to be learning a little more. Still having challenges, but I am glad to be working on my language skills. Have 3 people for intercambios, although we have not met often, but they happen when we each have time. Went to a new intercambio last night at a bar owned by an American, it is nice but just getting started so there are not many people.
Well, I have a ton of things to accomplish today -
Will try to return sooner next time.
