Hola,
Lots of time has passed again, I'm bad. Nothing happened last weekend to write about and my work weeks have been sad - not much work. Have been lucky to work even 10 hours. Not complaining because I still managed to make almost 900E, but still I need more to carry me over the summer.
With little work I also get to do other things -
On the 28th I took an exam in Spanish Class - passed - now at Level 4 at the Academia CEE
DO not know what that means, I think I am upper middle Intermediate. Intermediate is a broad range - LOL.
Never mentioned I got health insurance over here - went to the cardiaologist - Understood everything and the test results were all "normal" - I am so average - LOL - glad! I need to get the cholesterol down - he told me what I need to eat - I know that - and we agreed I need to exercise. So over the last 10 days I have done little to change. I will I will ... tomorrow.
Wednesday Pride celebrations opened here in Madrid. Went out Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Incredable parties. The only thing maybe close to the events here would be Mardi Gras in MSY - but really - there is nothing like it in the US.
Drinking, dancing, crazies - celebrations - and the Parade - OMG!!!
it lasts 4-5 hours followed by an outdoor concert in Plaza de Espana - More people than anyone could estimate - 6 figures. Drinking in the streets - uncontrolled festivities that would NEVER take place in the US - Loved It - absolutley amazing! Families - straight gay -everyone is out in force and having a good time. My friends who were in town where with me, making even more fun!
To top it off - during the parade Spain won their game in the World Cup and the people went crazy for that. Then today Rafael Nadal won at Wimbledon
Quite the weekend for Spain! World Cup finals on Wednesday - watch out if they win!!
Leaving the week of the 19th some time - start scheduling you Beto time ...
