Well, seems I am irresponsible. I was looking for a new place to live and there were several options. It seems the game here is to express instant desire and put the money down, or they keep interviewing people and you do not get what you want. I could not put money down because I did not have it at the time; so I lost out on my top 3 choices.
Well, I decided on a place, in the same area I am in now - same price, plus utilities, two other people (guy & gal) not in my community, one smoker, big place - but the bedroom is small, interior and opens into the laundry room.
On a whim this morning I looked to see if there were any new postings for something in the center of the city - preferred areas - bingo! Called the guy at noon, went right over - decent space, very old building and flat - big room that has french like windows that open on the street - two guys - one not in community, smoker and one in the community, private smoker & in a relationship - but he DOES not speak English!!!!!
Kitchen needs work, but I can work with it for now.
No deposit - only 15 days notice to get out - seems like a nice flexible guy!
So, told him I wanted it.
I wrote to the gal at the first place and she is calling me irresponsible - maybe, but it was less than 24hours from when I said yes and then changed to no -
She kind of wigged out -maybe it is a good thing I am not moving there ... yes?
Anyway - come visit - lots of room - guests are allowed - bring slippers, bath towel (I may buy one extra so ask 1st), sneakers for the walking we will do, cameras, a jar or two of Salsa (too expensive here) Acorn Squash, (I'll come up with more needs) Just come visit ....
