Holy crap! Can not believe it has been almost two weeks since I wrote - wow.
the weeks are just flying by ..... ZOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM
Work has been normal - Up early - out the door at 07.45h at least three days a week. Making a game out of whether Angel will cancel class - and if I will still get paid - for not teaching. This week he cancelled 3 out of 4 classes and I got paid for all 4! Feel a little guilty, just a little.
The other classes are progressing routinely. Did I mention that I have not been teaching Marta (the wealthy lady) because her husband went in the hospital; but I picked up a new 1 to 1 - Luis - he cancels about twice a month. He is an advanced student and I am enjoying working with him thus far.
Last weekend was a big party to celebrate Erica's 25th birthday. Most of us were out together on Saturday and we drank mucho - of course. Had a blast - but it killed Sunday. Erica had to postone her Birthday brunch on Sunday because David ate wild mushrooms that made him very ill. We are going to try again this Sunday. Since E & D could not host a few of us gathered at Ryan & Brady's place and made American Breakfast food. Was great for the hang-over! Anna was funny - she was claiming to be American after making pancakes! They were authentic and delish.
Paul was not around last weekend - he was in CUN walking his mum down the aisle, along with his brother. Saw him on Wednesday sounds like they had a gret time!!
Monday night past 6 of us went out for Chinese food at our fav place under the fountain in Plaza de Espana. Afterwards we were such tourists and went to T.G.I.F.'s for Icecream Desserts -

Did not teach today - both classes cancelled in advance - had thought about going away for an over-night; but thought it was better staying home. I have a ton of things to do that I never have time to do during the week. Plus I need to conserve a little money - we are going to Granada the 28th to the 30th!!! Very Excited to go back - the last time was with Christian and Charlotte 12 years ago.
Today I got my hairs cut - met up with Carmen for intercambio, went to lunch with Quentin, my flat mate; went to the Super - CarreFour - like a super Walmart, but MUCH nicer. Bought the supplies I needed at good prices, just wish the store was closer. On the way back I stopped at the new in-door market center at Tribunal, Quenton told me about it - he was right - it is nice.
These markets have many vendors selling either poultry, meats; seafood, cheeses; fruits & vegatables, etc. I bought a fresh chicken for 4 Euros / some vegies and have been making home made chicken and vegatable soup all night. CAN NOT wait to try it tomorrow. Had fresh Salmon for dinner - yum
Tomorrow I am going out to dinner and the theatre. SUnday is brunch and Carlos form Boston is here - will show him around.
I am tired - heading to bed -
