Slept in today, again - feel lazy - but it is okay - another day with bright blue skies, no clouds but cool/cold temps. might walk west to the park there today. Not expecting any calls as it is a holiday here.
Plans to see a movie tonight with someone I met on Friday. He is passing through on his way to Barcelona to become a teacher too. He be from Plymouth MA - has to be cool - right?
Yesterday started out slow - on-line looking around for net-working opportunities. etc
The group phoned and we met at the restaurant where David works. Then walked around looking for a specific Chinese restaurant - could not locate it so aet at some small dive, food was good. The weird thing was that the food came out one entre at at time, like they only had one stove burner.
Then we headed up to "The Quiet Man" an Irish bar near Tribunal - Sunday nights is Intercambio (Language Exchange opportunities) It was a lot of fun - but what would not be fun with PINTS of beer. Met several people, spent most of the time speaking with two women, who are unemployed. We spoke mostly in Spanish, which was great for me! Met a guy from Oaxaca and his eyes lit up when I told him I had been there. Met another nice guy from outside Madrid who is also unemployed, but working hard at perfecting his English. He wants to move to Dubai in February. It was a great experience, can not wait until Wednesday night.
I am going to get some stuff done and then get ready.
