I know can you believe it, two days in a row. Slow work week and I am broke.
Any way - Mom, I bought the coat, thank you - it was only 79 Euros, about $108 USD - the lining zips out so I can use it hiking in the mountains!!
Bought my Metro pass as well today - 46 Euros but so awesome - unlimited rides for the month. Hoping I was not premature as there are several zones and I only got the city center, no subburbs. I do not have any students out there, yet so I should be ok.
Right now I am liking the sending of holiday greetings via e-mail

I unusally send out 60 cards every year and I can not cut anyone out -

Roommates are being bigger dicks today - can not wait to move - hope it does not cost me a ton!
A Student cancelled today, hope we can make up the hour during the week (since I only have 10 hours this week). IT seems the Air Traffic Controllers had a 2 hour strike today - he was delayed coming back from mom's in the Canary Islands.
Made acquaintences with a waiter at the new restaurant next door - he speaks slowly so I understand more and he is encouraging me to visit often to practice.
Have an 8 am class in the morning - at least it is only one this week. Hoep there is hot water in the morning, unlike today -
