Well whats news?
I know the northeast is digging out still and that our snow fall over-night Sunday really made a mess of things here, but it was only 3" in the city. The snow was followed my rain making everything mushy, at least I have the right clothes with me, except a good jacket - I plan to buy one mom, now that it is officially winter. Because of the snow I had to reschedule one class, thankfully we could and two cancelled -sucks!
Oh, the news. Last night I was in the kitchen fixing eats and my bedroom door was ajar. Carmen, my roommate, walked by - started to reprimand me about the lights and turned off the light in my room. If she had come near me I would have bitten her face off. Instead I wrote Eduardo a letter giving my notice to move in 30 days. I feel so much better, but anxious about finding a place. It has to be right - nice guy, is curtious, easy to get along with, fun and I can have guests!! Wish me luck.
Had only 4 One to One students for January and beyond - amounts to 10 hours, not enough; today I interviewed and offered a job for Mondays and Wednesday afternoons. It is two classes, which is exactly what I wanted and good money!! Start 11JAN10. This will have to replace one of my existing students, unless he will move our class, but I am okay with that.
Still need to find more ....
Of the 11 of us here: two Americans are back in the US today for the holiday; four leave in the morning - 2 to the UK and 2 to Paris. Robbie and Paula go to her parents on Thursday, north of Madrid. Leaving Erica, her BF David, Devon and me in Madrid. David is cooking - yea!!
