Hey
Sunday night - it is amazing how quickly time flies here. Heading over to Maria Jose & Carlos' house for dinner, Patrick is here too.
I am shopping for a new winter coat and found something, but not certain yet if I like it enough, price is good - 79 Euros. Need shoes (wait until after holidays) bought a replacement back-pack; got food, need to pick up fruit. The point? I am feeling at home and having a normal life.
Well, as normal as one can have living in a foreign country.
Went out both Friday and Saturday - past the Metro bewitching hour of 1:30 am, so had to walk home both nights. Man late night Friday was cold - so last night I wore my thermals - making the experience of a 4:00 am winter walk more acceptable.
I have another 4 day weekend ahead, but because it is the holiday I am not planning on going to Valencia, even though I really want to see the city. David is cooking on Friday for Erica (girlfriend) Devon and me; Cara may be here if she can not get on a flight.
Have about 12 hours of work this week and almost 10 between the holidays; I think I am the only one working in the group. Looks like I will earn enough to fully cover my Spanish expenses in January. Now need to fill my January schedule! I hope the schools phone soon.
well that is about all for now.
Stay warm -
Beto
