Departure Day

Hi,
The story of how this idea came to be is long - but it came down to putting effort into the dream of being fully bi-lingual and living in Europe. Can I do this and how to make it happen??

I worked through the thoughts, details and challenges for 2 months to make this happen. Although it is just see ya later - it is hard parting from the closeness of family and friends.

I know I can do this and it is nothing more than a long vacation with specific objectives - Study and teach so that I can study. My certification course begins on the 12th and afterward I will seek employment using the skills teaching English as a 2nd language - somewhere in Spain.
Then the work begins to secure a visa - if this all comes together, I stay
If not, I will try Latin America - but I will be someplace working on my Spanish and teaching.

The desire of my blog is a place we can share in my story and find out first hand - Whats up?

Continental's flight 62 leaves in 90 minutes and I am treating myself to a birthday gift of Business Class (BusinessFirst) I hope ... Should be fine there are 7 open
Scheduled arrival is 10:05 am Friday and Madrid is 6 hours ahead of EST

My roommate is picking me up in a 20 year old VW Van - OMG -
He is British and works for DHL

I will be back tomorrow to let you know if he is normal or if I am looking for a new place to live

See ya
Beto
