Happy Birthday mom.
Okay - so yesterday a few of us met in the city center to see the La Trashumcia
It is an event that goes back a millenium before Madrid was a city. When one is a sheep herder, you move your flock from one area to another in search of food for the animals.
This tradition lives on in Madrid, despite the modern city being in the way. The herders parade their flock through downtown Madrid. the 6 of us enjoyed it a great deal.
Afterwards we went walking and had beer and food - just like the locals we are.
Today, class was positive - except the amount of work to do these last two weeks is intense.

Robertito, It seems to me that you are getting your youth back. Robert on rewind as I call it. Going out parting, people thinking you are 30. (What a great complement) You know what that means, you are on your elements. It been 3 weeks already? Wow... I am trilled to see those pictures and hear your stories, it is like I am living them too. Keep going and post more picture please.

ReplyDeleteGracias - It is fun - a little too youthful last Friday. The club we went to the people there looked like they are 12 - literally. Way too young - but we had a blast!
